The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition

Everybody should play this game at-least once in their life. With mods the replayability is endless. Experience one of the greatest games ever released. Just buy this.

Skyrim is indeed buggy sometimes, but if this bothers you, the modding community has done an excellent job in providing everything you might need or want to add or change to the base vanilla game. If you have not already tried it, I highly advise you to give it a try, even just by watching some online videos about it as a start, of course. TES V: Skyrim, like Oblivion before it, and Morrowind before Oblivion, have something that the vast majority of games nowadays do not have: a soul. If you can bypass the now very funny-looking graphics, I would suggest you check them out too at some point. To whomever was involved in the Skyrim's making process, I offer my deepest thanks.

Skyrim AE is a 2.5/5 unmodded IMO. This review is for the GoG version of the game: The GoG version is a different number than the "hot water" release. There are a few mods that simply will not work. I've found several other mods that require a GoG-specific version to work properly. Trying to install the modpack Nolvus will not work at all. If you plan on playing without mods, this version is fine. It's ugly by today's standards, but it's certainly playable. Modding is possible, but it can be more difficult with GoG's release.

One of my all time favorite games to play! Read on review for either oblivion or marrowwind, can't remember which, complain that they dreaded dragon attacks and prefferd one of skyrims predecessor's. If you don't want to deal with dragon spawns, you could always avoid doing bleak falls barrow quest along with dragon rising. That how a friend of mine got through a playthrough of skyrim without encountering one dragon. From what I saw. It made the game in general a lot easier. Still, having a drm, free game is amazing.

Anyone else having problem with the game purchase ? I bought the anniversay edition but it shows as special edition in my game library. And the automated help desk doesn't really answer my question
