EN: A big thank you gog for finally getting it out. It must have been difficult to get it. Otherwise what can I say about the game. Everyone knows it. So all I would say is: BUY IT! A lovely Adventure game!
It gets rid of most of the deeper RPG mechanics from previous elderscrolls games but greately improves the adventure aspect. Even with dated textures, the atmospere and density of POIs makes up for it and turns it from a good RPG into a great advenure, and if you turn on survival mode, survival game. Sadly, the story and narrative also took a backseat. Combat is still simple but an improvement over Oblivion. If you dont own it yet and/or catch it on sale for 17€, DEFINETLY grabbit on gog.

Superb!
This is an all time classic. I've been playing it on weekends or when I have some spare time (which is not much, you know, wife and kids gets in the way of gaming ;)). Anyway, I love that is DRM-Free and I'm enjoying it very much. Good on ya GOG.

The"buy salt everytime,everywhere"-sim
Why would you want to restart Skyrim with a new character for the x-time again ( + after finishing "Enderal")?: Because with the Anniversary-Edition: you don't need to redo the same missions for the x-time to have the right to buy houses, have additional cargo space with the teleportable creatures you might find, plenty of additional missions, etc. My only disapointments after 70 hours (without additional mods): no mark and recall spell,no horse whistle,fishing mini-microgame is underwhelming,backpacks look like kiddy-design,(survival mode)player needs to sleep and eat as often as my five year old human child/a 1 year old kajit.

Almost perfect version
Skyrim AE is a 2.5/5 unmodded IMO. This review is for the GoG version of the game: The GoG version is a different number than the "hot water" release. There are a few mods that simply will not work. I've found several other mods that require a GoG-specific version to work properly. Trying to install the modpack Nolvus will not work at all. If you plan on playing without mods, this version is fine. It's ugly by today's standards, but it's certainly playable. Modding is possible, but it can be more difficult with GoG's release.
