The Cat Lady

Few games have kept me this invested in both story and characters, but the Cat Lady balances everything beautifully. These are real people, with real problems and the decisions you make have a real impact. Do you want to make the world a better place? Or simply just battle your own demons? It is heavy themes to throw around, but once you get rolling, there is no stopping untill you are at the end of the rabbit hole. The game is not without flaws and some of the puzzels are just straight up none-logical. Downfall is not required to play this installment, but it will give you some deeper insight into some of the people you encounter and is an excellent game in itself. The soundtrack is a masterpiece in itself, and once Tears of Mars and Siah flows through your speakers, you will forget time and speace, and just submerge into the universe completely. Highly recommended for fans of games in general and point-and-click fanatics. It will linger in your memory long after you've solved the last piece of the puzzel and give you some insight into the horrible state of mind that is depression. Truly worth your time.

I greatly enjoyed the game. The graphics and gameplay are nothing to rave about, but the game had a great story and a pleasant gaming experience. Puzzles weren't too tough, and the story was very unique.

I got this game on sale for .99 cents. I have never felt bad for not paying full price for a game until now. Firstly the story is brutal, dark, and unforgiving. The game play is standard point and click fair except combined beautifully with narrative details. The soundtrack gets it's own shout out for being probably the best soundtrack in gaming. All together game almost made me cry and for that i give it a 10/10

This game is completely worth the buy. I think it's around 10 hours but can be beaten in less time. The graphics, the music, and the storyline are totally phenomenal. There are a few scares in here, but they're mainly jump scares. If you're into heavily story-driven games, this is definitely for you.

Guys, this isn't just a game. It's a piece of art! The story is somewhat confusing, yes, and there are some loose ends that aren't clearly tied up, but who cares? The story is still SO much better than in a lot of high-budget-games. This gem clearly proves that the Indie developers are the coming kings. If you are into psychological, gory horror, you should definitely play The Cat Lady. The story even is a bit philosophical, at some points. And there is the incredible original score, that perfectly blends with all the sinister and bloody pictures. Oh, yes, the graphics are STUNNING. Not in your "CryEngine 3" meanings of stunning: it's handmade, artful, some kind of old-fashioned, reminds me of the days when I played all those wonderful graphic adventures with bitmap graphics, before everything turned to 3D. Story, graphics and music perfectly blend together and form a true masterpiece! A must play for all adult adventure gamers out there!
