Just buy this game
This is probably one of the funniest adventure games in some time. The graphics and sounds are wonderful and at 1440p this was just incredible to witness. Regardless how you play it this is amazing , quality adventuring done the old fashioned and good way.

I just can´t
The game has the old pixel hunting flavor you can get, it is pretty much an old point anclick design with an improvement in graphics which is all well and good, unfortunately it is grinding on my nerves, first yoou have to re-search multiple time because some items only become available after certain points in the progression, forcing you to pixel hunt several times in the same room, pressumably to prevent a fail state, but that is just not fun and secondly I got to the point where you have to brew the potion and even though I try my best to not overstirr it it always blows up on my face when you have to stirr it 2 cw 3 ccw 4 cw, this just gave me a head ache, and I just can't deal with it anymore, I lack the skills to complete such simple task so yeah, if you like point and click is worth to check it out, but I can't really give it a real review

Not a fan
The path of completion is not logical most of the time and definitely not entertaining. It seems they took the graphical adventure game to an illogical conclusion of point and click until you find something that works. Also, having to kinda discover and item, then also pick it up made for some confusion. It's a pretty game, and if all you really want is a story, then there are plenty of walkthroughs on the web that will give you that with this game, but if you try to solve it on you own, good luck. I've played many "adventure" games, and honestly, this is not too high on the list.

The identical game under two titles!
"The Book Of Unwritten Tales 2" and "The Book Of Unwritten Tales 2 Almanach Edition" are identical. Don't buy the big bundle that has them both. It's utterly pointless.
