Description
The year 2087 is upon us — a future where genetic engineering is the norm, the addictive Trance has replaced almost any need for human interaction, and an omnipresent AI named Central powers the city. Its all-seeing CEL police force keeps tabs on everyone, including three people who are about to meet their maker.
*Charlie Regis, an agent of the city’s all-seeing secret police, finds himself blackmailed with the lives of his unborn children. Pushed to the limits by his deceit and his past, how far is he willing to go to save his legacy?
*Latha Sesame, a jobless agoraphobe addicted to the Trance, has become targeted for assassination. Without knowing who to trust, she must face the dangers of “meatspace” and survive a fate that has invisibly ruled her entire life.
*Max Lao, a tech-savvy case officer who joined CEL to forget her criminal past. Now she finds herself torn between two loyalties. When she’s asked to apprehend her best friend and partner, she must choose to follow her friend or the law.
As these three struggle to save themselves, they will soon discover a string of conspiracies that threatens not only their lives, but everything they think they know.

Best adventure I played in years
I just love the storytelling in this game, the puzzles are spot on. Music and great voice acting all work well together to create the cyberpunk atmosphere. And although I don't normally like games that are quite so violent/bloody in nature, in this game it didn't really bother me that much. Probably thanks to the choice of a nice low resolution consistent world that they created.

Mature and superb adventure
A smart, mature and awesomely structured point and click adventure. Wadjet Eye as always excels in the field with incredibly well written dialogs, witty and well characterized characters and a steady and smooth gameplay flow. Puzzles are in average fairly easy beside a couple more complex ones near the end, but all in all are always fair and logical. The last chapter I found slightly more chaotic than the rest, but still very solid. Art is amazing as voiceovers and music. A must play for sure.

one of the best recent adventures
I had a few smaller issues, like unskippable logos, steam popups blocking the tooltips, the fact that you can die which is completely unnecessary in a game like this and only wastes time (at least you don't lose any progress), but these aren't anything major and the game ended up being one of my favorite adventures in recent years. great story and characters, good voice acting, I loved the trance and hacking and all the different personalities you can play around with (I don't mean the multiple playable characters, though that was nice too). if you're into sci-fi and point & click adventures, this should be a blast. there's also a demo if you're unsure, look for it on the publisher's (wadjet eye) website.

Schway.
I absolutely love this game. Now, I'm not a huge fan of cyberpunk, so I might miss something that a true believer would find irritating; but it's got just enough cyberpunkness to make me happy. Awesome easter eggs. Great plot. Characters who feel alive, with their own backstories, flaws, lovable treats, everything. One of my favorite 'point and click's of all time.
