Not really that great
game plays well at 30 locked fps, with low settings on 3800x/7800xt trying to enjoy the game when things pop in and out, half a second lag spikes in combat and when loading new chunks. no idea what this game is doing wrong other than using unity but my pc somehow think this game is an offense to skyrim and puts each frame through a meatgrinder before giving it to my eyes. anyways not gonna buy another unity game i guess cuz the story is great. atleast so far ive gotten to act 1 in 7 hours without really doing anything.

30gb of filet mignon on your hard drive
This game feels like someone with talent and passion took one look at modern day triple-A games, said I can do better, and did it. The difference is hard to define but immediately clear. I wouldn't call it streamlined, but maybe efficient? For example, the character creation involves 2 questions with 3 choices each, heavy/ranged/magic and crafting/cooking/alchemy. Then the character creator gets shot in the face, the way I wish it would happen in most other CRPGs. I laughed because I realized I'm not the only one. Instead of bombarding me with decisions about mundane details I'd rather figure out once I know the game better, it feels like just enough to get you started. Once you've had a chance to dip your toes in, you'll find there are still several skill trees and plenty of depth to the game. Efficiency is in the game's DNA, like older games that had to work around system limitations and that mindset bled into other aspect of the game. If 200gb of uncompressed and unoptimized triple-A modern-audience slop is the McDonalds of modern gaming, then this game is 30gb of filet mignon on your hard drive.
