System Shock® 2 (1999)

This is one of the games that even with dated graphic will make you sob like a girl if you play it in headphones at night. System Shock 2 next to Fallout 1/2, and Deus Ex still gives me raging nostalgia boner. Only one bad thing about this game is... i cannot afford 10 bucks now and i dont have my boxed copy of game anymore... heck even bad things i can think about this game are my faults.

It's atmosphere, the sound, the logs, the horror and the game game design is very well done. And it lets your imagination go wild. This game might even take on the greatness that is Deus ex, or perhaps it is even greater. A must play too any PC gamer, no, any gamer.

Now this is a survival horror with all the letters. The gameplay of SS2 it's really unique and has been the inspiration for so many games today, combines exploration, combat and using badass powers. The atmosphere is excellent, it's a scary game that scares you for real not with cheap scary jumps, it really takes the formula of the original and expands to the point of masterpiece. A real must have for any horror fan out there.

I do not believe yet it really happend... I am not going to write how special this game is, bacause it is obvious :) I just want to say big "THANK YOU" for GOGcom people!

One of the best games I ever played. Only a few little things regarding balance an resource management are not so well done. But overall, it's perfect. Highly recommendable.
