System Shock 2 is 4U
I never played the original System Shock 1, instead I got this game at Best Buy a long time ago just based on the look on the box. I love the story, the SHODAN twist, the CyberModule choices, the weapons, Rebecca Siddons. Modern PCs don't even have CD drives so I love that GOG offers such a great game. Here's to hoping for System Shock 3!

just as great as SS1
honestly, try SS1 its great too !!!!! it might actually be my favourite of the two. SS2 atmosphere feels a little more "generic" horror. SS2 has more RPG elements tough , more choice of how to specialize including the pretty cool psionic road and hacker road

Amazing, underrated, terrifying game
It's a bit too hard for my taste, but with a couple of weapon cheats it was a hell of a lot of fun! It's too bad this didn't get the attention it deserved. The environments are scary, the monsters are nightmare fuel, and the main villain is one of the best ever. I love Shodan, her legendary entrance, the story, this is a masterpiece told by a rejected scriptwriter. My only issue is that it isn't casual gamer friendly; normal mode feels like impossible mode! LOL
