Respectful Sci-Fi Horror, Faithful to the Original
Review:
Faithful to the classic but with modern graphics, this game delivers flawless gameplay wrapped in an intense atmosphere of science fiction and horror. It doesn’t hand anything to you on a silver platter: you have to fight your way forward, figure out what to do, and find your path through the massive space station.
There are no arrows or markers telling you “go here and do this,” yet the game never feels unfair or punishing like a Souls-like. The balance between challenge and progression is excellent.
Verdict: Highly recommended! 10/10.
This game is exactly what I wanted for a remake. Very faithful to the original, the changes have been for a better experience and always with a good philosophy behind it.
The game is really fun and engaging, will entertain you for a long time and the price is great!
Truelly faithful to the original, it is maybe the best way to experience the original System Shock in a modern system. It is the perfect opposite of the FFVII remake.
Why did someone decide you couldn't rebind the weapon keys ? Why can't I rebind the mouse wheel to a sane up for next weapon instead of the backasswards way it is now ? These are simple things that could easily be fixed but won't be...Refunded...
