I'm a big fan of click-and-point adventure games. This game is unbearable with unskippable long cutscenes and dialogues, which makes it so boring! It is a deal breaker, not to mention the forced politics of a certain group on players.
What could be a good game ruined by not allowing cutscenes and dialogues to be skippable like in any other game in the world.
Firstly, my computer hardware configuration is not very good. So I completed the game in 20-40FPS.
Advantages:
+ Perfect restart of the work.
As my title suggests, it's not so much the fourth part as a tribute to the first one.
+ To some extent, it has improved and transformed the uncomfortable operation of the third part, laying the foundation for subsequent works.
+ Beautiful visuals
Turning point:
± The direction of the narrative mode has shifted to a focus on the plot and a mild decryption.
± The title of the game 'Syberia' has become somewhat symbolic (after all, the times are advancing)
± Our 'Kate' has transformed from the main body of the story to some kind of 'key', although I can understand that this can reduce the restrictions on subsequent works
Defects:
-Language localization is not very good (for example, "mechanical" people translate into robots)
Don't buy this game. It keeps crashing all the time and GOG doesn't respond when you file a complaint. It's a waste of money. I have tried all the solutions for making this badly programmed game work, but honestly, why would I make all kinds of adjustments to my computer in order to make this game work properly? By now I have managed to make my computer perform worse than ever before due to this game! Ruining my computer and still this game is faulty, because it is bugged? Sorry, no. I have deleted Syberia The World Before and that is the best I did so far. Beautiful game though, but not playable. I give 5 stars for the game itself, but -1 stars for support.
