SWAT 4: Gold Edition

I had such a wonderful time playing this game. In this game, you play as the leader of your swat team. Right before you start a mission, you are briefed to what your objective is and what you should be expecting and what weapons you should probably bring. Your goal is to clear out the buildings, and arrest all suspects. The game requires a well thought out plan and paitence, as any wrong move can kill you, your teammates, or even a civilian. The enemy and civilian placements are randomized, so replayability will always be different. This game is even better if your playing with friends, via LAN, exchanging ideas on how to pass the level. There's even a map maker in the files to create your own levels and share them. I highly recommand this game, but make sure to read fixes on how to use your custom resolution to the game. So what are you waiting for? Buy it, get some headphones and report to TOC!

A masterpiece of it's time. Classic of tactical FPS. It does have a bit different gameplay and tactics comparing to SWAT 3, but still self-sufficient. Five years passed since it's release and it is still interesting to play it. It doesn't have any issues running on Windows 8.1 and 10 and it does support resolution up to 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 out of the box (through INI file modification). Both SWAT 3 and SWAT 4 does deserve a sequel or at least a remaser.

The memories with this game are so many. The first time I had encountered this game, I went to a LAN party with my brother with his friends. We connected two PCs and we were playing all night long. We were like 4-5 people and take turns. I am amazed how a tactical shooter can be so addictive, with such good graphics, thanks to Unreal Engine, good sounds and mucis, gameplay mechanics and literally I don't remember this game crash, like ever. MAYBE few times, but really this game is a massive one and it won't bother you with stupid bugs and stuff like that. You can make your custom missions and set the morale to enemies and how many they're and how many hsotages there will be. So I strongly suggest you get that game with 1 or 2-3 more friends and play it together in a co-op.

I remember playing this game a very long time ago on my very old PC, the game still holds up very well! The amazing tactics! Beautiful Soundtrack, I just had to pick this gem up!

I have the original plus the expansion and have played it for years off and on. It is one of my most beloved games of all time. Just about perfect. Can't think of any flaws to this game. Love Love Love it. If you have never played it you are missing out. It has aged extremely well! Get it today.
