I love it so much
It's slow. It's weird. At times a bit uncomfortable. Well-written, fantastic soundtrack, great atmosphere, cool stories. I love it.

Too Frustrating
On start I initially did try to explore but found that the starting constraints were to severe to get very far before being stranded. If you run out of fuel within boatlength of a port the game still acts like you're miles from shore. I found that there was a realatively easy way to grind for resources but after a few rounds is presented me with a mission to bring to the goods to the other end of the map, which I accidentally accepted and couldn't back out of. I died trying to get there and restarted inheriting the upgraded house, but then a UI flaw caused me to just restart entirely. If you buy a trade good and you hold is too full there's no way to simply cancel the trade. You have to dump cargo which basically dooms your whole effort to upgrade. Upon restarting I found that port I needed to grind had respawned unacceptably far from London, so I just kept restarting until put it back where I wanted it. Then I discovered that my decision to skip character creation couldn't simply be revisted later. This cost me resources, which made the grind that much more difficult, which made me stop playing. I may pick it up again, but nothing good that I could say about this game would negate how frustraing the overall experience was.

Great for about 5 minutes total
This game starts out with so much potential, following in the footsteps of Fallen London, at least through the first 10 seconds of Character Creation. Then immediately after becomes a game of grinding through character deaths until you cannot stand it anymore. The game mechanics are super grindy and impossible to keep up with fairly. They clearly did not design this game for lore or story, as there is next to none. They did not design it with good gameplay or customization. I am not sure what is good about this game. I really wish I would have trusted the reviews beforehand and not paid an outrageous amount for this game. This game would be good for a phone app that you turned on for 10 minutes and then died and then you're foods ready or whatever and you can forget about the game. Not good for PC

at last I love it...
At last I love it. I bought it, played it, uninstalled it. I installed again and uninstaled again too... But, at last, instaled, played, learned how it works, loved/hated it, and get addicted to it's writting. Its amazing. Maybe not for everyone, but if you enjoy reading edgar allan poe, lovecraft and this kind of refinate literature i'm sure you'll enjoy it.

A subtle horror
The cosmic horror vibe in the unterzee is perfect. The pacing of getting to place to place even on the starter ship is done well, and the stories to be found are suberbly written.
