Summoners have toppled empires and challenged gods. They are venerated as saviours and feared as destroyers. With rings crafted by the ancient Khosani, the gifted can call forth demons, dragons, and elementals, but only the strongest can control the forces they unleash.
Born with the mark of the Summoner, Joseph possesses a power greater than emperors and gods. As a child, he summoned a demon to save his village, and watched in horror as those he loved were destroyed. Nine years later, the armies of Orenia invade, and Joseph must confront the prophecy he was born to fulfill.

There is no reason on earth to play this bug-ridden game unless you're after a trip down memory lane. Controls are awkward, combat is dull, story is cliche, animation is uninspired. Uninstalled when I discovered I had to enter a chamber to continue, because opening a door and entering a room is a near-impossible feat in this game.
I played it for a while years ago. Joseph can summon creatures, but they are so pathetic that they have little offensive power and can be killed easily. It's bad if they are killed because (if I recall properly) that permanently decreases Joseph's constitution points. So you have to babysit the summoned creatures in battle. Better not to even bother with them. Too many minor quests and impossible to remember where to go and whom to talk with to finish them. The chain fighting system is broken. Any skill points you put into it are wasted. The most effective tactic is to inch forward until you barely see an enemy (you will be barely outside their field of vision), and cast a fireball to kill them. Enemies are stupid and just stand there while they are burning up. I found the game a little annoying.
