More than a stock market simulator
I could never have imagined that a stock market sim could be so addictive. Of course, you watch courses and try your luck, but what it makes so addictive is the stuff around, that comes up with success on the stock market. Build up relationships, manage your life, invest in real estate, have romance with your secretary and so on.

Easy to pick up and play
It's easy to pick up and play and doesn't require planning a play session. It's as low commitment as you need while being playable for as long a session as is convenient for you. There are no uninterruptable cutscenes (in fact, none at all as far as I can tell), and you can pretty much pause and save any time you want and quit any time you want. Most games these days take a while to boot up, connect to online servers, and load textures, but not this game. It boots up pretty quick and you're in the game pretty much immediately. You don't have to think about whether you have enough uninterrupted time and enough focus and energy to play. That is a huge advantage in and of itself, and most importantly, the game is fun. I can't wait to see how long it takes me to become a millionaire and then a billionaire and how far I can get with Amy and fishing and golf and betting on the races and poker.

No Cursor
First thing off the game wouldn't fullscreen properly with Alt+Enter, and kept only filling part of the screen, then cursor disapeared and I could not get it to come back. Tried disabling desktop scaling with no luck..
