Waste of time
After the good Post Mortem and very good Still Life. This end is boring and slow. The only interest is to see the end of the story.

That darn inventory!
I did get this game to work, but there were several times that I had to go back to an older save, reload, and do everything all over again because I couldn't get back to where I had put something in storage to make room for new objects that I had to pick up. Eventually I was not allowed to make further progress and complete the game, which made me really mad. Why the inventory is designed like that and does not have more room in it is a major pain in the ass. Otherwise, the game is exciting; I found myself wanting to catch the scumbag killer and help the FBI get him.

Waste of time!!
Cons: Limited inventory, so you can use your time running around and deposit items and back again if you deposited the wrong item. Game play focused on the same scenes which means you spend a lot of time walking in circles around the same scenes. Nitpicking logic so you have to look at certain items and have a response from the main character before using items or password becomes available. Slow play and many repetitions. The plot and story is boring and really easy to read whose the bad guy/guys at the start of the game. Just like a bad 80s movie. Pros: If you finish the game, then you'll probably rethink your existence and avoid games like this or stop playing at all. Using time with the family or dish-washing :)

Boring
If you love games like Broken Sword, Syberia, Still Life 1, you will not like this game. If you love CSI, then buy it. My opinion on Still Life 2: very boring, the collection of clues is a fundamental part and it is not funny at all, the inventory can not contain all the objects and you will be forced to pose some of them to make space for others, the game has many bugs and you have to save frequently. I did not like it at all.

Saw-like Game
I actually preferred this game to the first Still Life. I loved getting to use the DNA kit more. I really felt like I was actively hunting a killer. I like how we get to play 2 characters; the hero, and the soon to be, victim. Paloma was a welcom breath of fresh air, and that woman fights for her life! Vic plays a bigger role later in the game, but once the action starts, it doesn't stop. I missed the Jack the Ripper style badguy, but I'm glad they tied up the loose ends from the first Still Life, and gave closure to that character. I'm a little mad at how easy it was to guess who was the real badguy. I found the lore and history weren't quite adding up to me. More cutscenes would have improved this game greatly. Still super fun if you enjoy evidence hunting!
