Bought it on Steam earlier, bu i'm so happy that I can buy it here as well and support the devs further. (and I'm a GOG fan :) )
The game is very good already, the real space ship crew management, with ground and space battles, RPG elements, etc.
Devs are amazing too, I had 1 game breaking bug way earlier in development, I wrote one email, and it was fixed within 2 days.
Highly recommended.
The best Space RPG from the start and updated practically every week!
This RPG has a 100 hours in it as an Alpha! That shows how good this game is! I I call this game "Baldur's Gate in Space". that's how good I think it is!
This game is a party based full on cRPG, with crafting, skills, perks, The whole 9 yards while on ground quests...
You even get separate skills and perks when you are the ship crew, flying, trading, taking quests in space and on planets, upgrading your ship, getting an FTL drive so you can leave the system you start in and so on. There is even an "infinite dungeon" you can play around in! (remember that game from the 80s, by Interplay?!)
So if you loved the early Bioware isometric RPG's, and you always hankered for a sci-fi type game from them, this is it. The developer has worked in the games business for over 25 years, and it's obvious he know's what he's doing! Given he still calls this 100 +hour game "Alpha", I can't even imagine what 1.0 will be like! For me, this is the best Isometric RPG of the last 15 years, with the low price and the huge amount of fun to be had, this game is a steal!
Sometimes you find gems, Stellar Tactics is a gem (another example was Kenshi in 2011-12), games that have huge potential, but even in their very early dev stages are already playable and enjoyable.
This is the project of a single person, it will probably take years before it gets completed, bught it couple of years ago on Steam, now also on here, it has already more content than many release games.
RPG, Turn-Based Combat, Squad Managament, Storyline... but then you realize that's the tutorial, then the game opens up and becomes some sort of EVE Offline, still retaining all other aspects...
1 word to describe it, mindblowing!
I love this game. The dev keeps you up to date on whats happening and why. I have had this since before space flight and all the other amazing things that have been added since getting off the tutorial ship. I played the tutorial and was head over heels when that was all that was there. Now with all the extra stuff to do I just can't wait to start a new run from the beginning again!
its a crew management game set in space. Nuff said for many seekers :) The only hybrid beetween xcomish battle ground and spaceship gameplay. There is a story line and also a complete free roam univers. At state its very enjoyable, it's close from Beta, Im just waiting for the complete fight improvement. I hope it will works, because maybe the game will have deeper space interiors gameplay and stuff like that. I allways dreamed of an xcomish space battle game, and this one is the closer to mix my requirements.
