Steelrising - Bastille Edition

Ok, guys, I love to leave 5 star reviews but I just can't on Steelrising. The devs had an awesome idea for a game but they just didn't implement it very well. The voice acting is awesome. The combat is clunky, at first, but it gets better. The story is decent but the receptiveness, as others have mentioned, gets old quickly. I bought this game on sale for $23.xx. I wish I would have waited until GoG dropped it to $0.99; they will eventually. The graphics are awesome, the voice-acting is awesome, the mechanics (gameplay) is decent but the linear journey is as interesting as playing King's Quest on PC. Dude, if you are thinking about buying this game, wait until it goes on sale for, like, under $3.00. The devs for this game had a great ides, the execution was just off...by a lot. Playing this game for over 2 hours made me want to start playing Dying Light again. And that's what I'm doing. Thanks to GoG for allowing my honest review, thanks to my GoG brethren for believing my honest review and fuck all you haters for giving me a thumbs down for what you guys know is correct; what I say is the truth.
