So far I've only played Skirmish single Player games but this game is very good having played COH I find that not having to gather resources is great.
There is a lot to learn if you want to be relly good and play online as I have seen from watching youtube videos.
I like the option of zooming in and seeing the action up close and being able to replay a battle video of your game is another feature I enjoy.
Also the option to create you battalions is a great idea. Just for fun I had one with only infantry which was interesting.
A grea game if you like this type of game well worth it.
A beautiful work of art. SD2 has great graphics, sounds and game play is incredible. The learning curve is steep and there are alot of players who are already well advanced at game play.
The only thing holding me back from a 5 star is the limited number of maps and the way they have set up the multiplayer game menus. Other than that it's brilliant. Not sure why the devs went on to do WARNO when there was so much more to do here.
opposed to ther rts games this game and its prequels (wargame series and steel divvision normandy 44) do not focus on base building and focus mainnly on large scale battles which no series of games i have found to do the same, the game has great campaign and even better multiplayer, if you liek startegy games you should buy it!
