    Starting at the dawn of interstellar travel, progress through four eras of technological advancement. Discover the science of planetary terraforming, upgrade your infantry battalions to battle mechs, and grow your fleet from a squadron of destroyers to an armada of planet-destroying Dread Stars.

  • Varied Factions:
    7 Playable factions comprising six alien races. Each faction has different research strengths and technology options. Forming alliances, conquering neighboring species, or discovering ancient artifacts may open up additional avenues of research. Choose your race wisely as it impacts which worlds will suit you, what trades or alliances may be offered, and whether or not your neighbors are inclined to trust you.

It's ok

It's clearly inspired by Master of Orion II. It's also better than the official Master of Orion remake. I'm sure if you're patient you may like this game, but for me I couldn't get over the UI. I just didn't like it and I couldn't hang with the game. The good and bad part is that there's no 'one more turn' addiction that negatively affects school or work. The original MOO II is still better in most ways. Of course YMMV. Still I would only recommend getting this on sale. If you don't mind ruining your life, there is actually a good spiritual successor to the MOO series. Specifically it's Master of Orion III, but done right and it has modern graphics. It's called Stellaris.

No Moo 2

This game lacks polish. Its not simple graphics, its amateur in appearance, and it lacks the appeal of the great game it pays homage to. If you want a true MOO 2 experience, buy MOO 2 instead. This game feels incomplete. Ashdar needs to come back, and update it.

Borring even for old MMO lover

The game repeats MMO series, however, very boring and inbalanced. There is no compaing or training, but instructions help to learn basics, some more advance feutures can be googled ) Diplomacy does not really exist, and everything depends on pure force. Technology tree is broken. Big ships are useless and very expensive. Small ships are supirior. Just use missles/torpedoes and later bypassing shilds weapons.

Masters of Orion For Kids

The game is very similar to Masters of Orion 2, but everything is designed to make it feel childish, as if the Disney Channel made a space strategy game.
