Fight the same enemies over and over again until you reach a high enough level to beat each plot mission. Each plot mission has the same enemies as the randomly generated missions. Boring. I only finished it by putting netflix on while I played. The game is very unbalanced with the Void Psyker being able to put out 10,000+ damage with ease in a single turn while other classes struggle to do 1,000.
a very boring uninspiring game that gives you very little incentive to keep playing.
battles are bland you practically just spam abilities don't even bother equipping a gun!
level design is bland and boring and hardly ever strays from several pre designed levels.
story is unappealing no matter what character you choose or path you take.
no healers except for medi pack items
practically don't even need money except just to upgrade your armor and shields!
quests always end up being the same shite over and over.
black market continuously rips you off and very herd to find good gear later levels.
becomes pointless to loot anything later on since you don't need guns or money and your abilities become so powerful you just need to keep spamming them and they are unlimited you never run out during a a battle...that's boring!

If I have to choose one word, it is 'glitchy'. constant crashes that wipe out as much as an hours progress. And in a game with randomly generated levels this means that getting back to where you were is even more time consuming because you'll do it all again(with no familiarity to know where to go) but for rewards you already earned!
If I could choose a second word, 'obsolete'. This is a genre that was semi common in the late eighties/early nineties. And is should have stayed there. Unless you are a massive fan of Legend of Grimrock, stay away from this. It feels limiting and lacking in gameplay. Technology has progressed past this point a long time ago and to return to it creates repetitive gaming. After about an hour of play, you've seen all Star Crawlers has to offer.
Move on, let this genre's resurgence finally end.
Meh, typical indie - lack of content hugely compensated with increased difficulty (even on normal) and fancy rules. I'm at the beggining, probably on a third mission, I do not clearly understand all the rules... But I can't escape from mission with a half-dead party, with no healing, even though you I'm standing near exit. I need to reload an hour (or two) ago save (before mission start) and throw spent time in a trash can. Why, for the love of god?
