STAR WARS™: X-Wing Special Edition

One of my favorites of all time. They just don't make them like this anymore. My three boys (ages 7,9, and 11) are all in love with it and have been jockeying for computer time with it since I installed it. It still holds up.

Fantastic to see this finally here! I played X-Wing so much it pretty much was my child hood. However, I was about to buy this when I noticed as some have said this is not the collectors edition and so lacks being the 'best' version of this game. Tie Fighter is also the same. Due to this I am still using my own copy on CD and Dos Box. I really DO hope GOG fixes this as there is no real reason to not have the 'best' version of this game on here. I have decided to mention this here along with what others have said in the hope that this issue will get noticed and the game updated. I would then happily pay for a GOG copy! :)

Well, I mainly bought this for the 98 release. Could never launch it, just kept crashing. I'm on Windows 7 64 bit. Considering how easy it is to "acquire" these games from other sources, these games should just work with no real effort needed beyond launching and playing. Currently waiting on support to tell me something.
