STAR WARS™: Rogue Squadron 3D

Can't play the game. When launching from the Gog dashboard the game prompts me to install the original CD. When I attempt to uninstall in hopes of reinstalling it tells me the game is not installed - Yet the Gog dashboard claims it is. Tried launching it from my desktop and it goes to a black screen then returns me to Windows.

cant get i to work on windows 10 - hal error Considering gog is for old games you would have thought they would make it easy Star Wars Racer and Shaodow of the empire work fine but this and R6 dont work at all FIX IT GOG

I played this game on PC growing up and achieved a gold ranking on every single level. I couldn't get past bronze on the first level over the controls. Something happened in the translation process that needs fixing.

When I first played this game it was on a P4 PC with a joystick and it was a blast. I then bought an N64 to play it when I was traveling and I had a blast! Trying to play this game on a modern laptop with mouse and keyboard is not very fun at all! Does someone have a good solution to this?

If you want a good Star Wars game or a good arcade space shooter this game is for you. The missions are awesome, they are very varied. You have escort, defense, destroy etc missions all changing up the gameplay. A map is usually fast, done in like 5-10 mins (rarely go to 15 mins). Controls are okay with a controller. It can be used if you disable compatibility on the .exe file. And it plays fine. (Due to it being a n64 game mainly it has a problem with only using 1 analogue stick but it's alright)
