STAR WARS™ Rebellion

Tough learning curve to the game, but you can automate a lot of funtions with your droid helpers. I remember having the physical version of this and the manual was THICK. Lots of ways to play, lots of ways to win. Far more in depth than any other strategy game for Star Wars or similar titles at the time. Various hero characters drawn from years of lore from what is now referred to as Star Wars Legends (basically the pre disney Star Wars novel universe) If you want a challenge, and have the patience to give it a go, I highly reccomend it.

This has been one of my favorite Star Wars and strategy games since I was a kid. Unfortunatly, it's so old that my original copy stopped working on modern hardware. It's awsome that everything works on GOG's version, even the space battles which was the one thing other versions couldn't get working. It plays just like I remember from 30 years ago.

No trouble with installation. No trouble with the game at all. Zero Crashes it just runs how it should. Yes I cant skip the Intro but I can live with that. So to the game. First ofc I love this game! Nothing more to add! I could but in the end its a Star Wars X4 game and you can stop to search for mods for other X4 games to get a star wars feeling. And than getting dissapointed because its crashes all the time or just lags once you have good fleet sizes.

Loved this game. Can be a bit tedious, but overall very good. Sometimes crashes on windows 8 after a tactical battle, wondering if there will be a fix for this. A good game for the price.

I remember playing this when I was in highschool, I even still have the original disc with manuals. Unfortunately I could never it to work on Win7, no matter what I tried. When I bought this, it worked like it was designed for Win7 64bit! Well done to the GoG team! Gamewise its a great game, if you are patient. This is a very long term planning 4x style game, ships will take months of game time to build with only a single Shipyard (which can be improved by building a ton of them) but the joy of the wait knowing that your Death Star is under construction as you scout the systems with probe droids hunting for Rebels is worth the investment (I only ever played Empire) I personally hated the ship battles, the interface is awful and is totally unintuitive to me, so I auto resolve and get back to the grand strategy of it all. Lots of clicking, lots of planning and building. I love it. Thrawn still never made me my Super Star Destroyer.
