AOE II (Star Wars Edition)
Age of Empires II meets Star Wars. Lots of campaigns. Recommended.

Just as I remember it, and then some.
I remember playing this game all the time as a kid. And it still holds up! It's basically Age of Empires II but with a Star Wars aesthetic and some other tweaks in there. But like that game, it's a great time.

A real time strategy game with style.
I've played quite a few real time strategy games and not many of them have resonated with me. I think what most RTS games lack is personality and style, but Galactic Batlegrounds Saga has a lot of both. It uses the Star Wars license to great effect and has lots of story driven single player campaigns which I enjoy more than skirmishes. This is without a doubt the most colorful and engaging classic RTS you can play on GOG right now. FYI getting it to start took some troubleshooting--when I used the desktop shortcut the game starts with a cinematic and then freezes before the main menu pops up. To avoid this I had to open the shortcut's file location and then started the game by opening the battlegrounds.exe instead. That skips the opening cinematic and goes right to the main menu.

Old, but good
Imagine Age of Empires, but in Star Wars. Well, this is it. Absolutely outdates game design, yet increadebly addictive game. Some factions are broken, others just too goofy to play, but hey do you really care if it's Star Wars?
