old classic high speed action
Loved the game since I was a child. Can recommend everybody to take a look at https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/n64/198780-star-wars-episode-i-racer/faqs/3635 fast paced action best played with a controller. For a game from the last century it plays really nice

In Desperate Need of a Remaster
This a great arcade racer, but a number of technical issues hold it back. You can't run the game higher than 30fps because it introduces control issues and visual artifacts, you can't set arbitrary resolutions, and it crashes almost as much as you will on some of the later stages. Even with all these issues I would still recommend it to those who have fond memories of playing the game back when it was originally released. It's a nice nostalgia trip and the gameplay does hold up. Newcomers may want to hold off until it gets a proper remaster.

Still a great racing game
I think is one of the most enjoyable arcade racing games this far. I quite enjoy the part of buying parts from the merchant that are used. I wonder why not other games have that feature.

Cool game of mine childhood!
Still cool tho this day! I have a blast playing! Would like to see some battlefront-like, or Squadrons-quality-like remake of Episode I: Racer. Would be dope.

A Classic Future Racing Game
SW Racer came in period when Wipeout and F-Zero are the best in the genre. Except for Extreme G and some random clones, we don't have much options The gamedevs don't have much access to the source material so they have to be very creative A fast, sharp and curious SW game that in the end you need Jedi's reflexes to winning the race hehe
