Star Trek™: Starfleet Command Gold Edition

This game does not work on windows 10 natively. You have to do a few things with your pc compatibility to get it to run if at all. It's a pretty fun game though if you can get it going. Fun little missions with still fun gameplay even after all this time.

Old game but works fine even on Windows 10 so far ---I altered the assets file many years ago to allow the use of any ship including the battleship in Skirmish mode which is fun---can anybody tell me how to turn off the music as I cannot see it.

The game itself is good, but isnt playable on windows 10, crashes every few minutes. sigh.

Including the good and the bad. Having grown up playing Starfleet Battles with SSD, this game is still the closest port I have played. The game play is still good to scratch my occasional nostalgia itch, but was never happy with the campaigns. Four out of 5 for the game, but 5 out or 5 for the ease of launching/playing that GOG provides.

This game has a mechanics system basee on the Starfleet Battles boardgame. It is brilliant. It is so much more challenging than the modern material.
