This is one I didn't get my hands on as a kid so I'm really glad GOG has it. The plot , gameplay and soundtrack was put together really well and it was fun getting to play the game for the first time this many years later. I still haven't beat the last Starship battle and got permanently stuck on one ground mission - so make generous use of the limited save spots (and maybe keep a few walk-throughs on hand).
Mostly interface and pixel hunting, which plagued these games in the early 90's. However, I'm wanting to dock it for some obvious oversights, like when a specfic NPC is knocked out in one room but up-and-at-em in another.
Still a lot of fun. They don't make em like this anymore -- at least not with this franchise.
One of the best old games, hands down. Some points of action interspersed in interesting stories with compelling dialogue and an honest Trek feel. Very highly recommended for any TOS fan
