SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated

I had a lot of fun playing through Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated! I've never played the original game nor was I familiar with the cartoon but nevertheless, if you are looking for a great collectathon game (reminiscent of the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube era platformers), then look no further. The animation and movement is fluid, the graphics are pretty good and colorful, and all of the levels (with their own gameplay mechanics) feel unique. I enjoyed it a lot and I guess I can say that as an adult, it also felt like a relaxing game. I couldn't really find any faults other than some achievements related to collecting things not unlocking - which is a shame when it comes to this kind of games. But still, this is an awesome, classic platformer and I can easily recommend it!

Great game, thank you for bringing this to GOG. I grew up playing this on PS2 so being able to play this on pc is amazing.

Pretty good game from the gameplay standpoint. Pretty graphics and runs well on the steam deck too. AA works excellent even on the 800p display. The characters are kinda disappointing (same as later seasons of the bob) but since it makes clear that their target audience is kids from the very first second of the game - it's perfectly fine. Overall it's a must buy, especially if you are nostalgic for the sponge bob, new to the video games (it's pretty easy to play, unless you are a game journalist) or simply want a cozy game for relaxation. 9.01/10.

The game itself is fantastic, I love this game and played it a lot as a kid, however there are so many bugs and glitches in this remake right now such as glitches preventing you from progressing in levels and bad collision detection, etc. Don't buy it until it gets patched.
