Good tactical rpg, less good storyline
Would have liked more roleplaying encounters/depth. But the engine works fine.

Excellent turn-based RPG
Nice graphics, decent voice-acting, decent writing, fairly authentic rules-system based on a free to use D&D5E variant. The indie alternative to BG3. Runs good on new and older systems alike. Free dungeon maker and unlimited dungeons and campaigns out there made by the community. Go for all the DLC to have the most options for experimenting with different party make-ups in the different campaigns. Worth every cent.

One of my favorites
Solasta: Crown of the Magister is a really fun game. The main cons for me are the lack of variety of enemies. There are a good amount of enemies, but once you reach level 8 or 9 yout've pretty much seen them all and they start to get repetitive. Also, the writing/script isn't so great, but is good enough. I wish some things were explained better, like how characters only get one chance to pick a lock, or how to target enemies with weapons that can be used melee or ranged (with a javelin, you if you want the character to throw it, you have to click the attack button and then the enemy, etc.). I like the character models, the magic system, the puzzles, and user interface. The character creation process is also super-fun.
