I loved Curse of monkey Island growing up and ever since then I've been looking for a point & click that lives up to that standard.
This game is funny, has great voice acting, lovely artstyle and interesting story!
HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!
One of the better graphic adventure games I've played recently. Not very scary but the spooky atmosphere and mystery is pretty solid. Reminds me of The Black Mirror in some ways overall definitely recommend this one.
I usually like point & click, unless oldstyle totally unlogical, but did not enjoy this one!
Game starts out nice with a great artstyle and humor and voice acting.
But then almost all of the map, with load and loads of locations, opens up very soon.
And you can start many puzzles at the same time, not knowing what most of them will help you with, cause most of them will be stuff for future needs.
As soon as you are stuck, which will be a lot, you will need to visit all these places, over and over, to see if you missed something somewhere, or if a new dialogue option has appeared, or if maybe a person stopping you from entering a room might have disappeared. It gets very very grinding and annoying!
Some of the puzzles are a bit mean also I think.
Anyway, then comes the ending....love it or hate it I guess, but I thought it was very cheap and hated it very very much!
Really enjoyed this one. I thought the writing was excellent, there were enough OMG moments to keep me entertained. Got stuck only once or twice, but the puzzles were all very logical. Worth checking out! Epilogue was a nice touch.
