From the top of Megacity S1-9, the Sovereign Khan rules with fists of iron and flesh. Beneath the city’s rotting foundations, a vengeful warrior embarks on a journey to murder him. 4 years prior to the events of Slave Zero, Slave Zero X brings new life to a world where horrific, living machines known as Slaves are primed to become the latest tools of war in humanity’s long and bloody history. A secret band of warriors known as The Guardians hope to stop these biomecha from being unleashed upon the world, but one swordsman among their ranks has a different idea: use the enemy’s own weapon against them. By merging with a stolen Slave Unit Prototype, Shou will become a furious Devil in pursuit of killing a false God.

I was waiting for this game release with a lot excitement. It feels like a MarvelvsCapcom-2´s character were in a beat them up game. It even has StreetFighter 3´s mechanics like the parry. I´m enjoying the game a lot and want to know all the lore, finish the game and watch the concept art whit the comic. When i finish the game I will give another review, thanks!!
The art in this game is amazing and I absolutely love the voice work. The story was also more complete and generally better than I expected, I got pretty attached to Shou and very attached to X. While the game starts at a 10/10 and feels amazing at the beginning, it gets much harder and frustrating at the end. Enemies start getting hyper armor and you'll have to watch yourself being bounced around for a couple seconds with no way to stop it if you don't have burst (and sometimes burst doesn't even work). However, game the game is still really solid throughout. I wish there was a move list in the game, but you can find them online (and I highly recommend you do). Practice your combos and parries in the training mode and you'll be golden.
