Description
Just when he thought his life was regaining some semblance of normality, Simon's wonder years are once again turned upside down when the evil sorcerer Sordid returns from the grave with only one thing on his mind - revenge!
Sordid reconstructs his Fortress of Doom and sends a magical wardrobe to fetch Simon, but it accidentally ends up on the doorstep of Calypso, the wizard Simon had to save in the first game. Simon then starts to look for a special fuel that can power back the wardrobe and get him home.
Journey with Simon through this inevitable sequel to the best selling Simon the Sorcerer, as he manages once more to get stuck in a land of twisted fairytales, recycled gags and carbon dated clichés!
With a cast of thousands (mostly woodworm) and enough Swampy Stew to keep an underprivileged country sick for a year, this classic adventure will keep you well entertained until we manage to make another sequel.

The publisher has taken the original game, added a horrible filter which removes all detail from the graphics, and a terrible new UI. They have also doubled the price for this privilege, and gotten GOG to remove the original version from the store (makes sense, why would anyone buy this garbage at double the price when they could have the original?).
The only saving grace is the original game is available as a bonus in the gog goodies (it's "Legacy version").
The so called HD version is just a filter... and a really *bad* one at that. The game never looked worse. Actually, the original had really great GFXs for its time which still hold up well today. The 25th anniversary edition looks so awful - it's either done by someone with really bad taste or just a complete SCAM. Avoid! Buy the original version instead!
Take the original game and a very old and slightly modified version of scummvm full of bugs and slap on a new and horrible looking filter, terrible mouse icons and html menu, finished with an enhanced sountrack freely available from james woodcock and you have the worst enhanced version ever. Im very happy with my original version thank you.
This is "remaster" literally one of the depixelization filters from ScummVM, paired with a new, horrible looking interface... It's shameful that this even exists, especially with that shameless price raise!
I'm sorry for the people who will have to buy this to get the original versions (included in the goodies). I'm also sorry for the many people who won't get to play the (original) game because they will be turned away by this "remaster".
I'm lucky to have bought the originals before they were removed from GOG's collection and hidden away in this garbage as "extras". I do feel GOG should make them available again separately!
