Finally

If you didn't know Silent Hill on PC is (hopefully was) a pain to get hold of the disc version are rare like Silent Hill sells for like £100 and only comes up like once a month on Ebay so it's good we finally see the series (for now part 4) go digital, as a port it seems to run well running Windows 10 it booted like any modern game no patches or mods needed it plays in 1080p also as a extra press the tab next to play on gog and go to directx setting you can add 16X AA and 8X MSAA it works in game as my GPU usage (a GTX 1070 TI) went from 3% to 8% yes the game only uses 8% of my GPU, only issues is it's capped at 30FPS maybe there's a mod to unlock it.

Please, add Silent Hill 2 & 3 too!

Great port of an old console classic, in my opinion. Has full controller support, high resolution option and you can run it under Win 10 or 11, as well. Definitely not the strongest entry of the franchise, but one of the creepiest atmosphere wise and a much better SH experience than any of the other titles that came after this. Team Silent's last one and it shows. Thank you GOG team and Konami for this. Please, add SH 2 & 3 to the store as well. I would definitely buy those titles too!

Deeper into the depths of nightmares

Well, what can I say? I'm REALLY glad that at least one of Team Silent games finally made it to the modern systems, BIG THANKS to Gog-team and Konami. The port is really good, no lags, no "voodoo magic" with stability and widescreen, everything runs perfect here. The game itself is not really that scary for the horror fan, but it successfully makes the player uneasy by using some new in-game mechanics, that weren't in the previous installments, to keep him constantly on edge. And I must say it works perfectly. Team Silent always knew how to frighten the player without much gore'n'guts, but with more psychological aspects, The Room is no exception. Truly, it's not the best one out of the whole series but good enough to give it a try, at least. I hope to see more of Silent Hill games in the future (yes, SH 2&3, I'm talking 'bout you), but since there's some problems with their source code, maybe it's time to give a second wind to the HD Collection, please?

I'd buy all the Silent Hill titles, particularly Silent Hill 3. Loved seeing this here. Bought it right away.
