A very weak entry in the SH series
This is definitely the weakest of the Silent Hill games (At least of those released on PC, which were the only ones i played). I really wanted to like it. The premise is really good: locked in the room, strange hole in the bathroom... And the mystery with the Walter Sullivan murders. It really got me. And it has some good creepy imagery. But this game broke me with its controls. Navigating your protagonist is a chore. Not even does he change his direction as soon as the camera perspective changes, he also feels so slow and sluggish, especially in combat. And the automatic lock on system there hurts more than it helps. Sometimes it felt like i was fighting the game more than the enemies. And then i got the AI companion and that was it for me. After 7 hours i just couldn't take it any more and felt a frustration i rarely felt while playing a game. After all your frustration level might be higher, but i am done with this. I give this game two stars because of the burping hospital zombies (which made me laugh pretty hard, especially when they were falling down the stairs, burping constantly), and the amazing music by Akira Yamaoka.
