Sid Meier's Civilization IV®: The Complete Edition

This game is incredible. The amount of care and precision in this is incredible. Also the number of packaged mods and then you add colonization. It just cannot be beat.

This os by far the best of Civilization games. S great base game with good expansion and even better mods. I played lot of them and still play Realism Invictus, the most complete and realistic mod. each game is different with enormous psossibilities. Civ V was a complete garbage and Civ VI is scum, both of them runied the Civilization spirit! this one is the last which remains. Hundreds of hours of entertainment assured if you like to make your own History

I have the Steam version of the game. I will probably pick this up again when it goes on sale so I can have a DRM free version. Civ4 is brilliant. It is more user friendly than Civ3 and has more features than Civ5 (culture flipping for instance). It makes me wonder what the heck Firaxis is playing at. But, Civ4 is a truly great game. If you like strategy games, it is hard to go wrong with Civ4.

After all these years Civilization IV is still the pinnacle of the series. All leaders are historically significant instead of being C-tier filler for the purposes of not hurting anyone's feelings (looking at you, Civilization VI). The only downside is the end-game which tends to drag on a bit if you reach the modern times.
