Sid Meier's Civilization IV®: The Complete Edition

Impossible to top this title. The best Civ game, the best 4X game, just don't start a game late at night

One of the better entries in the Civilization franchise. Easy to learn and play. Added benefit that Leonard Nimoy narrates the tech discoveries!

I'm by no means a Civ expert, but Civ 4 is a well-balanced game: It's way more fast-paced than Civ 3 and 6 (at least to me), and it the AI offers just enough help with suggestions to keep the game rolling rather than interupting the flow. I also appreciate how you can win the game diplomatically. You can peacefully without having to nuke other nations. Overall, a lot of fun to play and well-designed!

What to write what is not written already? It is perfect, of course. My favorite are the religions, they are implemented perfectly.

The Civilization IV Complete Edition is the game, that has got it all. - A grand gameplay with attractive interfaces. - Easy to launch without no glitches or roadblocks when I installed it on my PC. - Executed well on my computer. Hence well software tested before its launch by the manufacturer to its customers. (Which should be a minimum requirement, but is not honored by some software vendors. Meaning in practice that the latter push the faults to its customers, the buyers, to find, struggle and lose precious time with.) So, yes if I had not bought this game already – I would certainly make the decision once again, to buy it.
