Sid Meier's Civilization IV®: The Complete Edition

I was disappointed by Civilization III, and this game restored my faith in the series...literally. You can now take over the world by spreading your chosen religeon. Pretty awesome, and it's narrated by Leonard Nimoy which really puts the icing on the cake. The series achieved perfection in Civilization V (when you add the expansions), but this game is absolutely worth playing.

Even though I own the complete editions of Civilization V and VI, and was looking forward to VII, I couldn't pass this up when I saw it on sale for just a couple of euros. And I'm so glad I didn't. For the past four days, my nights have turned into a cycle of 'just one more turn,' starting at 10 PM and ending at 4 AM. This game is dangerously addictive, like all Civ games, but this one has really hooked me. The value I got for the price is insane. It runs smoothly on Windows 11 without any fixes, the graphics still have a certain charm, and the music is excellent. Seriously, such a fun game.

An evolution of Civ 2 & 3, this one introduce 3D and refine the classic Civ gameplay. A great game, i sank way to many hour into it

The last "real" Sid Meier's Civilization game for me. Honestly nothing compares to it before and nothing compares to it after. When I think of Sid Meier's Civilization games I think of this one. I still play it regularly to this day.
