Why GOG Needs Delete-able Reviews

There are so many outdated reviews here, it's ridiculous. Anyway, the game itself is worthy of being here. It's strategic, it's interesting, the only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 out of 5 is that it gets far too slow late-game. Also, the Crossfire expansion is included, if you couldn't tell :)

Got it to work on Linux

Got it to work on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS desktop. Uses Wine, but seems to work just fine for the most part.

One of my all time favorites

The soundscapes and cutscenes make this game stand tall above other science fiction games of its kind. I loved it then, and still love it now.

The pinnacle of Sid Meier's grand civilization evloution. The game that other CIV games try to follow and live up to! This one right here is the winning formula.
