The classic 4x game

The original game that set the standard for 4X games. Total unit customization and functionality are available. Want a submarine stealth aircraft carrier? You can build it in this game. The AI is decent but will backstab you for the slightest advantage. You can't go wrong with this title if you enjoy Civ-style 4X games.

One of a kind

I remember playing this way back when it came out, but I was too young to really get into it. Returning to it now, I love it even more. The controls are very old school and took some adjusting. But the vibe of this game is just fantastic, and not even Civilization: Beyond Earth could recapture the magic. A must-have for everyone who enjoys sci-fi and turn based strategy!
