Compatibility issues running Crossfire

This will only play SMAC not the expansion, which is a shame. The expansion was the reason I got this. Loved this game when it was out and was stoked to see that it included the expansion. Alas, it black-screens then dumps me back to desktop. Compatibility mode doesn't work. At least it's only £1.29 wasted.

numpad does not work on Mac

Since you can't use the numpad to move units in the OS X version, the game is practically unplayable on the Mac. Cannot recommend the game until this is fixed.

black and white.

I have old windows 7 but game colours won't work. Game intro works fine but in start screen everything turns to black and white. I tried all compatibility chances but it didn't help. How can i fix this?
