an absolute classsic
the Original SMAC (without the Expansion) is one of the best 4X games ever made and they never managed to take the lessons from it over to Civilization, This game will stay with you forever, the Lore, the Sociological aspects, and the mechanics, it definitely is showing some age, but it's most definitely still one of the best 4X you'll ever play
