Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri™ Planetary Pack

SMAC is one of my favorite games of all time. Sure, it's an older turn based strategy game, but it is also one of the most difficult games ever produced. With the right challenge settings (yes, they are customizable), this game is nearly impossible to win at, but there are also different levels of wining in the game. Want a complete conquest? You better hope the planet itself doesn't take issue with your building those planet busters.

Highly recommended for sci-fi lovers. I played it over and over again. Unfortunately, it stopped working after installing OSX 10.9.1

I've been playing this game since it came out and I still find myself losing hours to it. There are certainly flashier TBS games out there but with the depth of this game there are none, in my opinion, with the replay value. Just can't get enough. The day I lost my install disc I'm pretty sure I cried and when I found it on GoG I definitely celebrated. Instant purchase, Sid Meier forever!

I cannot wait for the "remake" (Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth) to appear this year. I even preordered it but I hope GOG would have been the pre-order provider...
