Old but not 'Good'
Over the past decade there has been a stream of Sherlock Holmes games, but sadly the quality has been at best very average. I think they were all made for a niche market that don't read many reviews in general, but are happy to buy because of the brand name alone and who are fond of memories of the novels. My advice would be to try and hunt down a demo first and decide on that.

the bar at the bottom of the screen..
it keeps you from being able to move, there is no list of the controls, I don't know how i got it to come up, I don't know how to get it to go away, within 12 minutes the game is ruined by the bar.. it is rather clunky, it's age shows pretty readily. I want to like it but the bar and lack of details on keybindings has ruined the experience.

Should have got Serrated Scapel
This is a poor imitation , voice acting is atrocious, story is poor and puzzles are even worse, I love Adventure games and this one is bottom of the barrel.
