Fun detective game
It's a fun experience of being in the shoes of one iteration of Holmes & Watson. Good puzzles and great choices to make in terms of coming to a conclusion. Cases are interesting and gripping.

good realisation
As a huge Sherlock Holmes fan, I like the realisation, and overall I'm not disappointed - although not all stated solutions are comprehensible to me.

I recommend it!
(I've just started playing the game) Some confusing elements so far but overall the game is the best S.H. IMO so far. (I'm a big fan so I have all the SH games) (Currently I'm stuck with the armwrestling quest XD ) After I finish the game I will update my review!

Paid respect to Sherlock Holmes
Loved every moment of the game, it inspired me to learn more about Sherlock Holmes, London, and the mysteries scattered around this ancient city. Great work, reasonable puzzles, interesting characters, varied cases, decent graphics. Voice actors are top notch, and the developers really treated the cases of Sherlock Holmes with utmost respect. a

As good as it gets
This game is - apart from Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Rose Tattoo - my favourite Sherlock game by far. Why? Because 1. it feels like reading Conan Doyles short stories (there are several cases to solve) and fits the Strand Magazine style perfectly, 2. Much attention is on creating a very believable "Victorian style" atmosphere and the game is very detailed, 3. The cases are diverse and interesting. I also like the fact that this portrayal of Sherlock Holmes is more in the vein of Jeremy Bretts brillant interpretation and feels very authentic. Crimes and Punishments is the highlight of Frogwares' series without any doubt for me and while I was disgusted by how "Testament" interpreted Conan Doyle's literary figure I'm really happy with this Sherlock. For every reader of the Strand Magazine-novels and every Sherlock Holmes fan this game is simply a must!
