Shardlight

I thought this did what an adventure game should quite well - not *quite* as good as the best (Monkey Island etc) but pretty close - give you a well rounded story and game world, with enjoyable puzzles. For me the game world was the best thing - like Technobabylon the setting had a deep richness that encouraged exploration and examination. For seasoned puzzlers you may find the puzzles a bit easy but personally I didn't mind because they were all logical - no putting sellotape on a cat to make a moustache.

Like all other Wadjet Eye Games productions, this game doesn't disappoint.

This was a great, gorgeous adventure game. It can be compared with the epic greats like Monkey Island or Broken Sword. I play a lot of adventure point'n'clickers and this is a true gem. Usually Wadjet Eye games are good, but not great. This is the best of the lot. I have played almost all their games and this takes the cake. Congrats!

Love wadjet eye games and this one is no exception! Nice hearty story line. Very entertaining

The game is extremely good, story and puzzle wise, although they could be harder. All except two puzzles are logical as well, only two puzzles require you to do something that makes no sense in the context (e.g. giving an item to a person that says nothing about it when you talk to them to get another item that you need while your inventory is full with stuff that any sane person could use to achieve the same, just fine). But apart from that, the post-apocalyptic world is intriguing and the music is splendid once more. Doesn't beat Primordia, but then again, what does?
