Shantae and the Pirate's Curse

The idea of mixing up zelda-like dungeon and metroidvania is great, but I would say this game is a good idea bad excuted. Level design feels untested, unplayable to me without hand-holding guides. I quit and uninstalled the game at the platfroming part right before the final boss-fight, I just can't manage it, it's unfair.

Language in game can not be changed and is locked to the OS language. Well, how stupid is this? Never saw something like this in any game whatsoever and I own a LOT of games. So it seems I have to endure the extremely bad german translation or mess with my global locale settings (no thank you!). Unbelievable.

Got this on a giveaway. It was pretty fun and well done. Beatiful music, graphics and controls. Well, almost. To get the good ending I had to look a map and some videos. How can I suppose I must ram few walls which haven't any tip? Also, the difficulty spike at the end was quite high. But doable with effort. The game is a bit short too, it maybe would need a couple of islands more. I fall in love with characters, and, after some frustations as described before, I had a good time, but I cannot give 5 start.

i like this game i m not very good at this, but i like the characters, quality animations and gameplay is okey music is also pretty good i like reinstalling it from time to time just to play some, sadly platformers are not exactly my thing so i finished it just once Mermaid waifu the best boss and in bondage already :)
