Good so far
I'm a fan of the series. I really like the gameplay but it's visible they had lower budget than before, There are some bugs and maps seem to be a bit empty. Before there were lots of secrets. Still a good game. I recommend it.

okayish game, should be cheaper
The game is very short, and this is a good thing, as it gets very repetitive: - level starts with sprinting / jumping / grappling hook - arena with tons of monsters spawnig at you - video sequence - start over The graphics are nice but nothing unseen. The weapons are not super defined and the katana was better implemented in the first two games. The story is a total laughable skeleton of a story without any big twists or revelations. I bought the game on a sale and you shouldn't buy it for the full price as it is not worth it.

Absolutely ruined by stupid platforming.
I don't why they would ruin the game with platforming. Just like Doom Eternal it absolutely kills the game pace and stops being a shooter.

Garbage
Since I don't always trust reviews I wanted to see this for myself, and must say... this is a letdown comparable to Postal 4. Well, a bit better than that, but not by much. The voice actors are all new, with average performances and the "writing" is abysmal so they don't have much to do with it. I put the volume for the dialogue and cinematics to 10% so I don't have to listen to their "efforts". Graphics are insanely blurry and weak-looking with gaudy colors. I tweaked the engine.ini with the following (put the file to read-only after editing) to make myself endure this garbage to the end: [SystemSettings] r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0 r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=0 r.PostProcessAAQuality=0 r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 r.BlurGBuffer=0 r.FastBlurThreshold=0 r.MotionBlur.Max=0 r.MotionBlurQuality=0 r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=0 Action is interrupted ever so often with inane cutscenes. Shadow Warrior 2 was/is a brilliant action game which I still play to this day, this one I can't wait to forget after the mandatory playthrough. Wasted money, but whatever - at least I had 4 hours of something new to bash.
