Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator

One of the best RPG´s ! This Game is so awesome. I Played it some Years ago and i Play it now. I missed the Tme with out Septerra Core :(! Thx GOG for this Game !

I started playing this game just a few days ago, and I really regret that. I should've started as soon as I bought the game. It really brought me back my childhood, when I played the likes of chrono trigger, breath of fire and the final fantasy installments for the SNES. The game's mechanics really reminds me of those games. My advice over this game is: play it! The only issue about it, is that it is a little glitchy on MS-Win 7 and later versions. But, running in compatibility mode, at 640x480 resolution and in reduced color mode (16-bit) works a lot better. I would give it 5 stars, if it had runned smoothly.

I was surprised to see this on GOG, but also happy. This was a great RPG! The characters are interesting and fun, the story itself is engaging, and the world setup is unique. It's a long game, and the turn-based combat does get a bit repetitive after a while, but it's worth sticking through for the story. Now I feel the urge to dig up my old disc and see if it will work on my current setup. If not, I may be getting it here afterall!

This is one of those games that you play once but the story stay with you forever . Yes the gameplay is a pain . yes it's tedious and even boring (they tried to copy Final fantasy but wasn't implemented right ) . BUT the story !! The story is AMAZING . The Story will hook you and drag you trough the pain and suffering of the game play till the end . And you will sit there and go 'Woooow.....' . And for the price ? GET IT!

I played this game when it first came out and was amazed at how amazing it was. It's essentially one big saga, with great lore and a diverse cast, each one with their own reasons for fighting, and hidden agendas. The art is particularly beautiful, clearly influenced heavily from anime. It's a huge game, with many different and interesting characters and well worth the the 5.99 price tag.
