Best game ever

Wow ... how many positive emotions this game brought me at the time)) I love soccer and everything related with it! In those days, we did not have the opportunity to play for the Christian Ronaldo)) but then we had other heroes(https://www.ronaldo7.net/news/2019/02/1422-atletico-madrid-2-0-juventus-nightmare-in-madrid.html nice site about Cris)

Fast Paced Arcade Action

Since the first Sensible Soccer came out, my brother and I spent countless hours on this series. SWOS is easily our favourite game on the Amiga, providing both lengthly, in depth, single-player manager mode that spanned up to 20 seasons, and tremendous multiplayer competition. The game also features an insanely large player and team database, as it dates back to a time when licensing deals were simpler and less expensive. The controls take some getting used to. The game plays at break-neck speed that can be extremely intimidating to first time players, but with perseverance it becomes apparent that is game is something special; the accuracy and control which a skilled player can manipulate the ball with a single button and directional keys rivals, and perhaps even bests what modern games attempt to do with half a dozen buttons and two analog sticks. The PC port stands up well. It is more or less the A1200 version of the game, for those who are old Amiga users. Playing with the keyboard takes a bit of getting used to, especially with this game's precise aftertouch system, but is entirely servicable. This game is definitely worth the purchase for those of us with fond, nostalgic memories. For the rest, be wary of the extreme pace of this game! It might leave your head spinning.

Truly cult soccer game

Oh my... this game reminds me my youth. I've spent thousands of hours playing SWOS with my friends on my Amiga 500. Oh God, I don't even remember how many springs we broke in my joysticks :D I would say, like in Cannon Fodder's song "Soccer has never been so much fun", that's true. Joystick is highly recommended for this game ;)

Oh my! My favourite game from the Amiga!

We were playing Kick off 2 whenever we meet with my friends on our amigas. So when he told me about this new soccer game that we should try. i was not very interested. As there could be no better soccer game than Kick off and Dino Dini was a god amongst men. After playing a few matches we were hooked. And it was the first ever sensible soccer that we were playing(european champions(?)). So we started playing each version of sensible soccer and when it became sensible "world of" soccer there was no competition. It still is the best soccer game for me . The number of teams and the fun factor is quite high. Buy this one if you like soccer, buy it even if you do not like soccer (as i do). You wont regret it. If you already have it, then try to find "player manager" on the amiga and play it!
