This game is pure entertainment !
Once upon a time this game was awesome ! almost perfect. Now about 24 year later I tried this again and this is magical :) so nothing really has changed. Perfect controls are still there, even keyboard. So many teams and players in this. That time (when Sensible Soccer released) I really started to follow real football maybe little earlier, so these players in this game really bring some fantastic memories. This game Rocks year 2019 this must be ageless !

EPIC!
I started playing the original "Sensible Soccer" as soon as it was released and I was instantly mesmerized by it! My one and only addiction so far... I want THIS game engraved on my tombstone. Enjoy, people!

Fantastic football game!
This game was released in 1996 and it's basically and updated version of the previous year's franchise installment. The visuals here are simple but smooth, it has that good old mid 90s look I enjoy so much, and you probably do too if you have a GOG account. Gameplay-wise, this game is frantic and unforgiving. Sometimes, it feels like a subliminal text is shooting on your screen every 15 seconds, with big shiny letters saying "MODERN FOOTBALL SUCKS". There was no DLC boost back then, so you better pass that ball and stop whining about your filthy pinkie's broken nail. The only cons I can talk about are technical. I have no problems to play it on my Win 7, though, it's just a few small details that don't really affect the experience. This is truly a satisfying game, suited both for casual and hardcore players. If you like Cristiano's haircut, don't ever talk to me. However, If you like sports and football, get this game and a sixpack of cheap beer as soon as possible, you won't regret it.

Immense. Original. Ground-breaking.
A true classic re-discovered and perfectly re-produced by the awesome team here. I've tried working this on emulators with both Windows 7 and Vista. No fun at all. This is the perfect solution. The game is exactly how I remember it being, No add-ons or bonuses but you do not need that with this game. It has wonderful old skool graphics and the pixelated players look fantastic even on a wide screen. The playability is where this game seals the deal. It's a masterclass in how to pick up a game and just play for fun. Oh modern games can truly learn from this generation-leading classic. I struggle to name a computer game which I have enjoyed to pick-up-and-play more than this and where more hours have been spent than this (inc CM 2001-2002). This game is a classic which is still thoroughly enjoyable and playable 16 years later. Want to see what Arsenal was like when Arsene Wenger joined? Tony Yeboah at Leeds in the Premiership? Fulham in Division Three? Then get this.
